Hartfield & Co. Distillery is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the return of Bourbon to Bourbon County, Kentucky with this beautiful commemorative box set. Bourbon County is the birthplace of Bourbon Whiskey, and where America’s Native Spirit derives its name. Before Prohibition, in 1919, there were 26 active distilleries in Bourbon County. In honor of those that have gone before us, their stories and legacy, we proudly present this SINGLE BARREL, CASK STRENGTH release of OLD BOURBON COUNTY.

• Each Box set features a beautiful hand crafted, oak box etched with fine precision by our friends at Teals Prairie.

• The sliding lid reveals one of the 219 bottles gleaned from the first single-barrel release of Old Bourbon County. Each bottle is hand labeled and numbered with care.

• The set also includes an exclusive rocks glass and barrel bung etched with the Old Bourbon County logo.

BARREL DETAILS:

• Barrel Number: 20-0001

• Mashbill: 70% Corn, 20% Wheat, 10% Malted Barley

• Proof: 118.2 Proof, 59.1% Alc/Vol

• Tasting Notes: This barrel has a sweet note of bubble gum and caramel on the nose. The palate continues with the sweet candy, but quickly leads into orange cream and light citrus. The back of the palate brings in tobacco and oak and lingers with sweet banana and creme brûlée as a pleasant spice sits on the middle of the tongue.

PRESALE INFORMATION:

Orders placed online will be processed in the order they are received. The presale can be purchased at the distillery or online. Samples of the First Barrel are available at the distillery. There are 219 bottles in this batch, and they will be sold first come, first serve with a limit of 2 per customer.
