Here we are.  Still standing after two years.  

With staggering facts like lots of new businesses failing within the first two years, much more over the next three or right now there are over a thousand "craft" distilleries operating in the country with another 2000 coming online over the next year or two.  These facts seem like challenges.  Taunts even.  It makes the work seem that much more worth it.

Over the next few weeks we are going to be finishing up our cocktail bar.  Putting the final things in place in our tasting room.  Hooking up the final parts for our still.  All with the knowledge that we have a long road ahead of us, but for this dream it is worth it.  

Our distillery is about much more than just making booze.  It's far more than just an investment opportunity.  We want our children to grow up in a business.  We want to develop this into that family business.  More importantly, we are developing for the first time in almost a decade a distillery from the county that gave Bourbon its name.  

For this idea, work is worth it.
